I received an email this afternoon from my good friend Carol Stewart about the Amazing Tree Quest, so I thought I'd share the details! This is a cool idea, I'm excited to get my camera out!
Here's the skinny:
"The Amazing Tree Quest is back for its second year!
The Amazing Tree Quest is a city-wide contest to celebrate the important role that trees play in our lives. London is proud to be the Forest City, and our city is full of amazing trees. The contest allows individual Londoners (or anyone from anywhere) to nominate trees located in London, Ontario.
As the final weeks of spring wind down, why don’t you, your friends, your kids, your kids’ kids, your kids friends, your neighbours, your sweetheart, and/or your colleagues start entering trees in London's Amazing Tree Quest?
It's a fun way to get outdoors, explore the neighbourhood and share the beautiful trees in our neighbourhoods with the community.
For more information, visit www.reforestlondon.ca/londons-amazing-tree-quest.
You can find them on Twitter http://twitter.com/rfldn and Facebook http://www.facebook.com/reforestlondon to see new Amazing Tree Quest nominated trees and ReForest London events. Help spread the word to your friends!"
Thanks for extending out the invitation Carol!
