Interactive Distinguished Panel: Current & Future Solutions to Ongoing Problems with Medicare

On Thursday, March 11, 2010, an interactive panel discussion surrounding current and future solutions to ongoing problems with Medicare will be held. This unprecedented event will feature:

*Dr. Jeff Turnbull*, Canadian Medical Association President-Elect

*Dr. Robert McMurtry*, former special advisor to the Canadian Royal Commission on the Future of Health Care in Canada (a.k.a. the Romanow Commission)

*Dr.Nick Kates*, Ontario lead for the Quality Improvement and Innovation Partnership

*Dr. Debby Copes*, Quality Advisor for CHOICE in Health.

This event will be moderated by renowned health policy consultant, *Dr. Michael Rachlis*. The panel will focus on discussing sustainable health care solutions that lie within the framework of Medicare with ample opportunity
for audience participation.

The event will commence at *5:00 p.m. in University Hospital, Auditorium A and will feature opening remarks by Dean Carol Herbert. 

Light refreshments will be served, and a catered reception hosted by the Dean will follow.  We welcome all attendees to stay for the reception and take advantage of this unique opportunity to interact with the panelists one-on-one.
